Supporting the work of ELEPAP by donating four wheelchairs in Athens and Thessaloniki

Yet again, Loux, the largest 100% Greek soft drinks company, showed its commitment to the social groups in need of our help, by donating four wheelchairs to ELEPAP - Rehabilitation for the Disabled, a charitable institution that has been providing full rehabilitation services for the past 80 years to more than 100,000 babies, children and adults with disabilities and neuro-developmental disorders.

We celebrated Autism by Bowling

Loux fulfills its commitment of combating the stigma of mental illness and social exclusion by supporting the “3rd Bowling Tournament of Western Attica for people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (A.S.D.)” on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day. This event, which was held on April 1, 2016, was jointly organized by the Day Center “In the World’s Yard” and “Ilianthos” the Specialized Diagnosis and Rehabilitation Center of the Children and Adolescents. During this event, more than 125 individuals with A.S.D. between the ages of 8 to 60 years, from 13 mental health and special learning bodies in Attica had the opportunity to have fun, impress the public with their skills and pass their own message by bowling a ... strike on autism!

Sponsor of the Regional Educational Robotics Competition

LOUX, supports the efforts to promote education, thus have funded the sponsorship of the Regional Educational Robotics Competition. This particular contest was held in Patras, Sunday, June 16, 2013. Note that this Panhellenic competition is under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Religions, and is a qualifier of the 5th National Competition, a step before the World Educational Robotics Olympiad 2013 held in Jakarta, Indonesia.


Sponsor of children’s group "TACHYTIS" of Erasmeios Greek-German School participating in the competition for F1 in various schools

LOUX, strongly supports every effort for education, and they sponsored the group “TACHYTIS”, which participates in a competition for F1 driving in schools. Children can acquire empirical knowledge in Natural Sciences, New Technologies, Mechanics and Mathematics, as well as develop valuable skills and abilities. The group name “TACHYTIS” is symbolic in Greece, since it is the ancient Greek word “speed”, which is quintessential in the sport of Formula 1. It consists of children of the second class of High School and the motto is: Think Fast. Do Fast. Run Faster.

Sponsor of the Cultural Festival for Secondary Education in the Prefecture of Achaias

An ardent supporter of cultural and artistic programs, LOUX supported the two-day festival of cultural programs conducted by Secondary and High Schools of Achaia, held for the 3rd consecutive year in Patras, on May 4 and 5. The aim of the festival is to present students, teachers and parents with the opportunity to attend cultural programs, thus highlighting the concept of parallel education through the implementation of innovative actions in everyday school life.


Children's program sponsor for the World Environment Day

A series of events and activities specially designed for children was supported by LOUX for the World Environment Day. Many children met and played with their favourite characters of books, made ornaments and teddy bears of clay with “Arcturus”, participated in activities regarding farming and learned a lot about the bicycle. They also participated in an original interactive exhibition with birds and sounds of the forest.


Christmas greetings that brought smiles to many children

Through an original web based concept, LOUX contributed to raising money in support of the actions of the not for profit organization The Smile of the Child. Acting on its own initiative, LOUX created beautiful festive online Christmas cards found at the website  http://www.loux.gr/xmas/. For each card that friends of LOUX filled and sent out to their loved ones, the company offered a certain amount towards this organization. Through this campaign, LOUX gave the opportunity to those who wanted to offer money to the Foundation at no cost for them, without a product purchase and, of course, without burdening with any way the environment since it involved digital rather than traditional paper cards.


Supporters of the Panhellenic Union Fight Against Juvenile Diabetes

For many years now, LOUX supports the camp of the Panhellenic Union and its fight against Juvenile Diabetes, held at Loutra Oraias Elenis in Corinth. The camp is specially designed to accommodate children with juvenile diabetes, aged 6-15 years old, from all over Greece, accompanied by specialized trained team doctors and team leaders. The initiative of this union is to enable these children to enjoy two weeks of relaxation, combining education with entertainment, through interaction with other children who also have juvenile diabetes. LOUX, fully supporting this cause, stands alongside the union, contributing in its own way in the implementation of the program.
