Participation of Platonas Marlafekas, Vice President of Loux in the Conference of Naftemporiki

Platonas Marlafekas, Vice President of Loux, participated in the 1st Conference on Consumer Goods and Retail, organized by the newspaper Naftemporiki on Thursday, September 22nd in Athens. 

Mr. Marlafekas participated in the discussion entitled “Producers and suppliers - The double battle for market dominance and securing liquidity” and referred among other things to the supremacy of Greek soft drinks with a 20% content in fruit juice compared to those marketed abroad. In addition, he pointed out that the soft drinks industry is in crisis ever since the 1980s, when from the hundreds of companies that existed back then only few are still active today. 

The Vice President of Loux, referring to the prolonged recession of the country, said that in reality we should not be talking about a financial crisis, but about a change in the economic data.

Finally, Platonas Marlafekas made a reference to ELLA-DIKA MAS, by inviting the business world, along with all social, academic, journalistic and professional bodies to support this initiative that offers high added value to the Greek economy. 

Loux always participates in any initiative aimed at exchanging views on finding solutions to problems concerning Greek businesses, the economy at large, but also the entire Greek society.
